The 18-hole layout at Hoakalei Country Club is a 2009 Ernie Els design, laid out on an old sugar plantation next to the former US Navy airfield at Barbers Point on the south shores of Oahu Island. Laid out on a largely flat property, the fairways are routed around several large lakes, bringing aquatic hazards into play at thirteen holes – and if water doesn’t impede your progress here then…
Tournament notes
From the organisersThe 2026 LOTTE Championship presented by Hoakalei concluded on October 4, 2026, with world No. 2 Jeeno Thitikul of Thailand claiming a three-stroke victory. Thitikul finished with a total score of 21-under par (267) to secure her fourth LPGA Tour title of the 2026 season.
The tournament was held at the Hoakalei Country Club in Ewa Beach, Oahu, Hawaii, featuring a total purse of $3 million, with Thitikul taking home the $450,000 winner's share.
Late Drama: Thitikul carried the lead into the final round but hit her drive into the water on the par-4 16th hole, resulting in a double bogey that wiped away her two-shot lead. However, she bounced back immediately with a spectacular 20-foot birdie putt on the 17th and closed out the tournament with another birdie on the 18th to secure the win.
