Legal basis
We process technical and usage data on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a functioning, secure website. Comment data is processed on the basis of your consent, which you give when you submit a comment and can withdraw at any time.
Who we share data with
We share limited data with the providers that host our website, deliver images and video, and measure our audience. Each provider processes data under contract and only on our instructions.
How long we keep it
Comment data is kept while the comment remains published. Aggregate analytics are retained for 26 months. Email correspondence is kept for up to two years.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to processing. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within one month, as required by UK GDPR.
