Simone Giannelli has played senior club volleyball in Italy since 2012, a run that started at Trentino Volley and moved to Sir Safety Perugia in 2021. He is a setter whose shirt number is 6, and he represents Italy. At 30, his role is control: choosing the right hitter and pacing an attack.
The route ran from Trentino Volley to Sir Safety Perugia, and it is at Perugia that he now directs the side as setter. He has also been named an Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
