Antoine Dupont works from half-back, listed as a scrum-half and a fly-half, so he can control tempo at the base of the ruck or move into the first-receiver channel. That range lets Toulouse and France vary the point of attack: fast, flat service to the backs, contestable kicking, and a running threat that pulls defenders out of shape. Much of his value sits in reading when to pass, kick or carry.

Right now he is a Toulouse player in the Top 14 and a France international, with 64 caps and 80 points to his name. Earlier in his career came Castres Olympique. World Rugby has recognised him as men's player of the year, and he also holds the sevens award and a Knight of the Legion of Honour.
