Noia Portus Apostoli FS recorded their first victory of the Liga Prime Futsal Torneo Apertura campaign by beating Sur Seeds El Ejido Futsal 2-0 in Noia’s third league match.

Biel broke the deadlock in the 31st minute before Charly added a second three minutes later, according to Noia’s match report. The home side said the result left them ninth after three games, among eight teams on four points.

Noia began with Di Fanti, Mykytiuk, Thierry, Altamirano and Biel on court; El Ejido started Jesús, Geraghty, Arnaldo Báez, Cristian Povea and Cola, according to the match sheet. The coaches later used substitutes including Noia’s Charly and David Pazos, who were both involved in the decisive second-half goals.

The contest at the Municipal Agustín Mourís remained scoreless through a first half in which both sides created opportunities. Noia reported that El Ejido’s Mercado tested home goalkeeper Di Fanti in the fourth minute, while Beto struck the post three minutes later. Between those chances, Noia’s Koeman saw a long-range shot stopped by visiting goalkeeper Jesús.

According to the club, Noia initially looked to use Di Fanti’s forward involvement but were unable to turn that approach into sustained control because of collective inaccuracies. El Ejido also used goalkeeper Vandeson in advanced situations, while Noia’s David Pazos and Juampi Cuello both had late first-half chances stopped by Jesús.

El Ejido coach Guillermo Martínez requested a Video Support review over a possible penalty involving Nico Rosa in the eighth minute, but the club said the officials did not award a spot-kick after reviewing the incident.

Noia take control after the interval

Noia said their momentum from the closing stages of the first half continued after the restart. Thierry and David Pazos tested Jesús as the hosts sought the opening goal, while El Ejido accumulated fouls.

The away side were reduced to four players in the 29th minute when Cristian Povea was sent off directly. According to Noia, Povea was penalised for stopping Altamirano as he moved clear towards goal, and the dismissal stood following a Video Support consultation.

Despite having a two-minute numerical advantage, Noia could not score during that period. Jesús made two saves to preserve the draw before El Ejido returned to full strength, the club reported.

The match report recorded cautions for Noia’s Cristian and Juampi Cuello, while El Ejido’s Rufino received a yellow card. It also described Povea’s challenge on Altamirano as the visitors’ fifth infringement. Biel later left the court in pain after an awkward movement during a defensive action.

However, Noia then found the breakthrough within seconds of the visitors restoring their full complement. David Pazos advanced down the wing and supplied Biel, who finished with his heel to make it 1-0 in the 31st minute.

The hosts nevertheless extended their lead in the 34th minute, when Charly won an aerial duel and beat Jesús.

El Ejido’s late change brings no response

El Ejido introduced Cola as a flying goalkeeper in an attempt to reduce the deficit. Noia said its team remained well organised and prevented the visitors from establishing a late recovery, seeing out a clean-sheet win in front of around 750 spectators.

The result was particularly valuable in Noia’s account because it came against a direct rival. It leaves David Palmas’s side ninth with four points after three matches, according to the club’s early standings. The narrow score reflected a game that stayed level until the final nine minutes despite chances for both sides.

Noia are due to remain at home for the next round, receiving Barça on Sunday 4 October at 12.30pm in the fourth matchday of the Torneo Apertura.
