Ludvig Åberg has the Annika Sörenstam Trophy, back-to-back Ben Hogan Awards, the Haskins Award, the Jack Nicklaus Award and Swedish Golfer of the Year recognition. Those prizes mark a player who reached the top of American college golf at Texas Tech and then gained national awards at home. The Ben Hogan, Haskins and Jack Nicklaus honours single him out as a leading amateur; the Swedish Golfer of the Year wins show his standing in the professional ranks.

At 26, Åberg is based in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, and his weeks are split between PGA Tour and European Tour events. The 2026 season has brought major top-ten finishes at the Open and the PGA Championship. He turned professional in 2023 after Texas Tech, has five professional victories and now represents Sweden on both tours.
