Victor Osimhen started out at Wolfsburg, but it was a loan to Charleroi that changed his trajectory. The Belgian spell brought twelve goals in twenty-five games, enough to earn a permanent move to Lille. At Napoli he became a prolific scorer, and in 2024 he returned to Turkey, where he had previously spent time on loan, before signing for Galatasaray permanently in 2025. Now twenty-seven, he plays as a striker in the Süper Lig and has already contributed nineteen goals for his current club. For Nigeria, he has become a central attacking figure, and his international performances have made him a recognised name across African football.
