Saka’s game is built on timing. He starts wide on the right, waits for the full-back to commit, then darts inside or outside with a quick shift of his hips. His first touch takes him forward, not sideways. He decides early whether to cross, cut back or shoot. Off the ball he tracks runners and blocks passing lanes.

Saka has been at Arsenal since 2018, and his totals for the club are 226 appearances and 60 goals. He is now 25 and a regular starter under Mikel Arteta. Arsenal rely on him to carry the ball up the pitch and link with the strikers. He is one of the first names on the teamsheet.
