Caitlin Clark is a point guard for the Indiana Fever and entered the WNBA in 2024 after setting the NCAA Division I scoring record at Iowa.
Clark explained
Caitlin Clark entered the WNBA in 2024 as the first overall pick after a college career at Iowa that left her as the NCAA Division I all-time scoring leader. A United States guard, she earned MVP honours at the 2021 FIBA Under-19 World Cup and at the 2026 FIBA WWC Qualifiers in the Puerto Rico region. Her move to Indiana Fever turned a record-setting Hawkeyes run into an immediate professional stage.
Now with Indiana Fever, Clark wears number twenty-two at point guard. She led the WNBA in assists as a rookie, made the All-WNBA First Team, and was named Rookie of the Year in 2024. All-Star selections followed in each of her first three professional seasons, and a Commissioner’s Cup title came the next year. She also earned AP Female Athlete of the Year recognition.
