From Cornwall to the international circuit
Caudery was born in Truro and grew up in Illogan. She tried gymnastics and several athletics events before concentrating on pole vault. Her father coached her during her early years, and she later studied at the University of Miami before returning to train in Britain.
Her personal best of 4.92m, set in Toulouse in June 2024, is the British record. British Athletics included her on its Olympic World Class Programme for 2026-27. That support gives her a stable base for the next outdoor season while she continues to compete against the strongest vaulters on the international circuit.
