Two long home and away records meet
Crystal Palace’s nine-match unbeaten away run at Craven Cottage contains six wins and three draws. Fulham’s cup record at the same ground is also strong: eight consecutive home League Cup matches without defeat.

The fourth-round match will add a new result to both sequences.
Strand Larsen arrives after a decisive third round
Jorgen Strand Larsen scored two goals and provided one assist when Crystal Palace beat Middlesbrough in the previous round.
Palace can attack quickly after winning the ball, while Fulham will try to use their home support and recent cup record. The confirmed starting teams will show whether Strand Larsen again leads the attack.
Palace enter the tie after one draw and three defeats in their previous four matches. Fulham therefore have a chance to test the visitors before Palace can settle into their counter-attacking shape.
A draw after 90 minutes leads to penalties
This is a single-match knockout game. There is no extra time in the fourth round, so a level score after 90 minutes will be followed by a penalty shoot-out.
Fulham reached this stage after cup wins over Wimbledon and West Ham. The coaching staff changed parts of the team in those rounds, but the club has not confirmed how many changes will be made against Palace.
The London clubs also met recently in league competition. That result provides useful knowledge of the opponent, while the cup format creates a different match because a winner must be found on the night.
The winner reaches the quarter-finals. Kick-off is at 19:45 GMT at Craven Cottage.
